Our brain is the higher center of the nervous system. It controls the sensation and motor function of the body. And, more important, it exercises cognition. Cognitive function, or brain power, includes all aspects of perception: recognition, conception, sensing, thinking, reasoning, remembering and imagining. To process of these brain power it involves a series of chemical and electrical reactions. To assure a well cognitive function, or increase brain power it needs healthy brain cells with good contents in them, fine cell membranes, shape impulse receptors, and sufficient neurotransmitters.
There are things we can do to increase brain power, or cognitive function, of our brain. First is to supply nutrients to our body and brain by eating right and enough. Proper physical exercise keeps the body in shape, feeling good, and physical state. Thirdly, exercise your brain by doing math problem frequently, solve puzzles, play brain games, and never stop reading and learning. Fourthly, use supplements to furnish the low production of essentials by the brain itself. Supply with vitamins, cholines, or herbal substances support a well brain function and power. These steps can help you keep your mental faculties in good shape, and can increase you brain power even when you are wear out or old.
